Since this site is about all things Connecticut and about Connecticut bloggers who work, live, and write in Connecticut, we like to feature bloggers once a week to let you know who is out there in our fine state. Please take a minute to visit their site. I sure they would appreciate it.
Connecticut Working Moms is owned by Michelle Noehren and can be found at www.ctworkingmoms.com
Connecticut with CT Working Moms on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest

Why did you start your blog:
I started this blog in August of 2011 after I went back to work as a first-time working mom. The website went live on Sept 1st and is doing smashingly well. Our readership continues to grow and the site was even featured on the Facebook page for the National Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.
How long have you been blogging:
This month is the 6 month anniversary of the website. I have been blogging for Working Mother Media for over 2 years as well.
What do you blog about:
We blog about all things related to parenting and being a working mother. The website features 17 different bloggers, all based in CT and all working moms. The goal of the site is to provide a community for working moms while also being a resource (we include information about finding child-care, FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), breastfeeding, birth and more in our resources section).
We also have daily columns (Magical Monday, They Said it Tuesday, Wisdom Wed, Tasty Thursday, Freebie Friday and Special Needs Sunday). Each of these columns is written by a different woman in Connecticut.
Every Friday we do a giveaway of a local item (jewelry, kids stuff etc) and the giveaways are quite popular.
CT Working Moms is the only website of its kind. Our bloggers are from diverse backgrounds so the topics discussed vary widely and there’s always something new to talk about. Readers are encouraged to leave comments to participate in discussion.
