The Easter Bunny is coming and so are bright colored eggs for your children to gather and squeal over. The Easter Bunny will visit the Danbury Railway Museum for a special train ride on a vintage train. Each child will receive a small gift from the Easter Bunny, temporary tattoos and there will be a coloring station and Thomas the Tank play table. Trains depart every 30 minutes from 12:30-3:30. Museum open 10-4:30 Friday & Saturday. 12:00 – 4:30 Sunday $9.00 age 2 and over (under 2, free)

Brothers Pool will be holding its 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. All are welcome to attend this free family event. Be sure to bring your camera as we will be getting a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Easter Egg Hunt
Times by Age:
Under 3 at 12:00 p.m.
3- 4 year olds at 12:15 p.m.
5 – 6 year olds at 12:30 p.m.
7 – 8 year olds at 12:45 p.m.
Cost is $1.00 per child
The Egg Hunt will be held on the grounds of Town Hall. Additional features include a jellybean counting contest, and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. Bags will be provided for egg collecting. Call the Parks & Rec. Office to pre-register. Pay on the day of the hunt in the lobby of Town Hall. Rain date is Sunday, April 1st.
Flashlight Egg Hunt for Older Children
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Just for students in grades 3 – 5! The hunt will be held on the grounds of Town Hall at 8:00 p.m. sharp, and will last approximately 20 minutes. All participants must bring their own flashlights. Bags will be provided for collecting. Call the Parks & Recreation Office to pre-register. Cost is $1.00 per student. Pay on the evening of the hunt in front of the Town Hall.

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Kent youngsters ages 10 and under is Saturday, March 31, at 10 a.m. at Kent Town Hall. The inclement weather date is April 7. The event features two hunts: ages 5 and under and ages 6-10. The hunt is sponsored by Kent Park and Recreation and the Kent Lions Club. For more information, call 860-927-1003.

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will once again take place at Henry Park this spring on Friday, April 6. Come and hunt for thousands of foil wrapped solid chocolate Easter Eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny. Children 2-4 must be accompanied by an adult during the event. No pre-registration is required.
Please join us for an Easter Egg Hunt on April 7, 10am at Southbury Baptist Church. Over 1000 stuffed eggs! Please bring your own basket. If is rains, hunt will be indoors.
Bunny Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt

Please note: all indoor activities require purchase of a breakfast ticket. No ticket is required to participate in the Egg Hunt.
Our annual Bunny Breakfast will be held at the Brooklyn Middle School. Brooklyn Recreation and the Danielson Lions Club will present this pancake breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 8am-10:30am. Tickets available in advance at The Brooklyn Parks & Recreation Office, the Brooklyn Recreation After School Program (beginning February 27th), or as space permits, at the door. Tickets are $5.00 per person, $20.00 for a family of 5. Activities will include face painting, family friendly entertainment, and a visit from the guest of honor, the Bunny!
Egg Hunt: Our annual Egg Hunt will take place outdoors at the middle school, weather permitting at 10:30am, on April 7th. Open to all Brooklyn children age 10 and under. Call the office for more info. Egg hunt is free of charge, bring your basket and plan on joining us on April 7th!
Easter Bunny Fun Day at the Connecticut Trolley Museum

Easter Bunny Fun Day is a family fun filled day where each child will get an Easter Egg containing a surprise, and a small craft to create. Around the Museum will be face painting, tattoos, train tables to play at, bubble tables, and of course the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will be around visiting with everyone, so don’t forget your camera! Ride the trolley cars, enjoy a film on trains and trolleys in the theater.
Two year olds and younger meet with Mr. Bunny in the Gazebo from 12 Noon – 1 p.m. 3-4 year olds hunt for eggs at 12:15 sharp in the Apple Orchard, 5-7 year olds at 12:30, 8-10 year olds at 12:45. After the hunts are over, children can meet with Mr. Bunny in the Gazebo. Please bring your camera. In the event of rain, all eggs will be available at the Gazebo.

Children ages six and younger can bring their own baskets and hunt for the hundreds of eggs that will be hidden all over the farm. Eggs will be distributed throughout the two-hour event. At the end of the hunt, eggs may be turned in for a goody bag. Parents and older kids are welcome to come along. Stay after and enjoy our Nature’s Playground and meet our furry friends on the farm including Dakota the Clydesdale, Maggie the Brown Swiss cow and Speedbump the goat. Parents and older kids are welcome to come along.
