Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace at Mohegan Sun

Bobby Flay, the famous chef, has several restaurants in the Mohegan Sun casino. Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace is a place to get a quick bite to eat. Get in line and then you place your order and can eat in the restaurant or take it out and eat anywhere the casino. When we went there was no line and no waiting.

The people behind the counter and the waitresses were super friendly – everyone was friendly actually.

We placed our order and then took our number and found a seat at the counter on the far wall. The counter was clean and shiny, and the seats swivel and are super comfortable. The restaurant is so interesting looking with curved lighting around one set of counter tables and individual round, hanging lights above ours on the far wall.

Because it was a Thursday night less people were in there and you could really see what the restaurant looks like. I have walked past it many times and the line was so long that we never stopped. This will definitely happen if you go on a weekend but during the week you can walk right in and get your food quickly. Ours came within minutes of sitting down.

Greg ordered a Bobby burger (not shown) and I ordered a Grilled cheese – it has chopped tomatoes in it as well as both American and Swiss cheese. We both shared the Sweet Potato Fries.

Sounds like you had a great meal. I wish Bobby Flay had a burger joint in the city or at least closer to us here in NYC.

I watched him BBQ burgers on tv and they looked amazing. Thanks for the tip I will have to make it up there during the week someday.

It was a simple meal and quick too. It was definitely tasty. We haven’t tried his fine dining restaurant but it’s on the list :) Let us know if you are coming and we will join you.
